The TV tower: political and technical masterpiece
The History of the Berlin TV tower is part of German history: in the sixties the East German
government had the TV tower built, not least to demonstrate the strength and efficiency of the
socialist party system. Today the tower shapes the skyline of the German capital city -­‐ a landmark of the reunited Germany, like the Brandenburg Gate.

The observation deck is at a height of 203 metres and includes Berlins highest bar, the Panorama Bar.

The revolving restaurant is at a height of 207 metres and turns around its own axis once or twice
every hour.

The maximum number of people authorised in the globe is 350 people (320 guests and 30 staff -­‐ for security reasons). There are 2 lifts (max. capacity of 12 guests per lift) which take 40 seconds to go up.


This package includes:
- Guests are met at the entrance of the TV Tower and are accompanied to the restaurant. You don’t have to queue.
- Guaranteed window table.
- A glass of sparkling wine as an aperitif – the TV Tower’s special cuvee.
- A 2 course meal: starter and main course.
- A glass of wine chosen by the sommelier to compliment the starter.
- A glass of wine chosen by the sommelier to compliment the main course.
- Unlimited mineral water.
- A floral table decoration created exclusively and uniquely for each booking. This can be taken home as a souvenir.

This package is subject to the TV Tower restaurant’s opening dates and hours and is available on request. You will receive confirmation within 24 hours of your booking. If you do not receive this please contact customerservices@ingresso.co.uk

The standard dinner time is 7pm. If there’s no longer availability at this time when the booking request is made, an alternative time may be offered. Customers must be at the bottom of the TV Tower at this time where they will be met by a member of staff of the TV Tower.
